Risk warning and acknowledgment:

By signing this document, you will waive certain legal rights,

including the right to sue.

Your participation in the activities supplied by The Horse's Gift with Julie Bechu may involve risk.

The risks involved may result in injuries including death.

Prior to undertaking any such activity, you should ensure you are aware of all of the risks involved, including those risks associated with any health condition you may have.

The Undersigned, being the Participant or the guardian of the Participant, is aware that participation in any activity involving animals, including but not limited to horses, can present risks, dangers and hazards to the

Participant.

The Undersigned acknowledges that the actions of animals, including but not limited to horses, cannot be predicted with complete certainty and that animals can act in a manner that could cause injury or death to those interacting with them.

The Undersigned is aware of the risks, dangers and hazards associated with any program of experiential learning which involves the interaction with animals, including but not limited to horses, and the Undersigned

freely accepts and fully assumes all such risks, dangers and hazards and the possibility of personal injury or loss resulting there from.

The Undersigned (on behalf of the Participant if the Participant is a minor hereby agrees):

1. To waive any and all claims that either the Participant or the Undersigned has or may in the future have against The Horse's Gift or the facilitators or any other employees of The Horse's Gift or the owners of the animals used by The Horse's Gift (including but not limited to the owners of the horses) or the owners or occupiers of the stables and fields used by The Horse's gift (all of whom are collectively referred to as the"Releases") arising out of any aspects of the Participant's participation in the Experiential Learning Program;

2. To release the Releases from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury that the Participant may suffer or that the parents or guardians of the Participant may suffer as a result of the Participant's participation in the Experiential Learning Program due to any cause whatsoever including negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory or other duty of care on the part of the Releases;

3. To hold harmless and indemnify the Releasees from any and all liability for any loss, property damage or personal injury to the Participant, or any third party resulting from the Participant's participation in the Experiential Learning Program;

4. That this Release shall be effective and binding upon the Participant (and the Undersigned if the Undersigned is the guardian of the Participant) and each of their heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, assigns and personal representatives;

5. In entering into this Release, the Undersigned is not relying on any oral or written representations or statements made by the Releases with respect to the safety of the Experiential Learning Program.

I ACCEPT all the inherent risks of the proposed activity and possibility of personal injury, death, property damage or other physical, mental or economic loss resulting there from.

I AGREE that if I suffer injury or illness, The Horse’s Gift with Julie Bechu can, at my cost, arrange medical treatment and emergency evacuation service as The Horse’s Gift with Julie Bechu deems reasonably necessary for my safety and well-being.

IN ENTERING into this agreement I am not relying on any oral, written or visual representatives or statements by The Horse’s Gift with Julie Bechu or its staff, or any other inducement or coercion to participate in equine experiential learning activities, hence only of my own free will. You agree and undertake any such risk voluntarily and at your own risk.
